The primary purpose of the Product & Marketing Manager is to assist revenue growth through marketing and improving current product offerings, and by creating new products to offer to clients and prospects.

Our Product & Marketing Managers enjoy:

Frequent communication to stay in-touch and on-task: Fully remote (for now) to keep our team safe, our well-established routine of daily huddles and weekly team meetings via Zoom, and our company wide chat platform assure we stay frequently in-touch and always on-task, all while having fun. 

Training & tools: We provide training on both our services and our processes, as well as tools to make your job efficient including custom software and CRMs in which client projects and tasks are tracked and organized.

Proven success in several industries and marketing platforms: We have successful clients across a spectrum of industries with a heavy hand in medical, education and tourism.

Ownership of the marketing strategy: The Product & Marketing Manager is the strategist and project manager of agency B2B marketing strategies including content marketing, email marketing, and targeted display. They guide a cross-functional team to execute and optimize our campaigns to drive qualified leads. 

Ownership of the product roadmap: The Product & Marketing Manager is the resource for assuring that we have the right products with the right features to optimize the potential of the work that we do for our clients.  As new platforms emerge, or new ways to use existing platforms come to exist, Product & Marketing Managers are tasked with developing new products and ensuring our internal and external teams know about them.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and project manage marketing tactics to drive leads in target markets
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to execute tactics
  • Analyze and optimize marketing strategies to reach prospective client inquiry goals and team new revenue goals
  • Craft conversion-focused creative and technical content in support of marketing and sales including emails, press releases, presentations, social media posts, landing page, and website content
  • Apply an astute and critical eye to all marketing materials (online and offline) to assure it is a professional and current representation of Search Influence’s brand

 

Product Responsibilities:

  • Document and maintain the product roadmap (example products include SEO, digital advertising, and email marketing)
  • Conduct and analyze market research to inform and develop product and pricing strategies
  • Develop and execute strategies for internal product and feature adoption
  • Develop and execute strategies for external marketing and sales of new products
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a product expansion plan, which includes strategic goals and milestones
  • Monitor the digital marketing industry
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and use of products
  • Solicit internal and external feedback, including speaking to current and prospective clients, and report findings to stakeholders
  • Work with internal departments to develop new products or new features for existing products
  • Serve as the primary source of product information on behalf of the company

 

To Snag This Job You Must Have:

  • At least 2 years previous experience in marketing
  • Previous experience in product or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Passion for trends and innovation in the digital marketing industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; including phone and email
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong follow-through, organization, and project management skills
  • Excellent research skills

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • B2B inbound marketing experience
  • Proven success delivering qualified leads through content marketing strategies
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar system
